HOW TO HELP ?

Dog walking

We are always very pleased to see dog walkers, it makes such a difference to the dogs to get a nice walk and to see a different environment other than the kennels.

There is a lovely common right in front of the kennels so there are plenty of interesting walks.

You can do as much or as little as you want to, and just one walk would make a difference. We have little dogs, big graceful dogs, playful dogs and some that love cuddles so their is a dog to suit most people.

Dog walking takes place from 10am-2pm seven days a week. So please make a dog happy and come along and join our great band of volunteers we look forward to meeting you.

ps. Don't forget your wellies

Donations

We are always more than grateful for any kind of donation, giving your time is a lovely way to help us there are always lots of different jobs that need doing:

    1. Walking the dogs
    2. Mowing the grass
    3. General help around the kennels
    4. Fund raising ie coffee mornings, car boot sales, sponsored walks. If you live close enough to pop in we would be very glad of a little of your time.

We have to cater for many different diets here at Meadowgreen, so we are always pleased with any donations of food.

We always need old newspapers so if you live close enough to bring your newspapers to us we would be very glad of them.

If you want to be a volunteer you need to be 15 or over - contact us for more details. Younger people are welcome to come and dog walk as long as they are with a responsible adult.
